Free camping is available on our land or you can find a place to stay in town. Weaverville is a charming gold rush town with several motels, hotels, and vacation rentals. For those looking more historic, there's the Weaverville Hotel. The town also has art galleries, a bowling alley, a movie theater, and a great grocery store.

Campgrounds with showers
Douglas City Campground offers camping opportunities along the Wild and Scenic Trinity River in Trinity County, CA. The campground has 24 sites, flush toilets, hot showers, and easy access to the Trinity River. Campers can enjoy small beaches along the river for swimming, fishing, or paddling. The campground fee is $20.00 per night. There are 13 first-come, first-served campsites and 11 reservable campsites at recreation.gov The campground will open on May 5, 2025, and close in late November, depending on the weather.
